What ZetaHire is

ZetaHire is a free career and salary utility platform for professionals in India. It exists to answer practical compensation questions quickly and without friction: what a CTC actually pays each month, what a hike is worth, and what a target salary implies.

Why these calculators exist

Indian offer letters are quoted as CTC, which bundles employer PF, gratuity provisions, insurance and variable pay alongside actual salary. Dividing CTC by twelve is misleading, and most people only discover the real number on their first payslip. These tools make the structure visible before you sign.

How the calculations work

All salary, tax, PF and gratuity math lives in a standalone calculation engine that is independent of the interface, covered by unit tests, and configured per financial year. The current ruleset is FY 2026-27 (AY 2027-28). Slabs, standard deduction and rebate reflect the rules carried forward from the Finance Act 2025 for the new and old regimes. Verify against the latest Union Budget before relying on these figures.

Calculations run in your browser. We do not require an account, and we do not send your salary figures to a server. Results are estimates: your employer's salary structure, allowance mix, PF wage basis and eligible deductions all affect the final figure on your payslip. Nothing here is tax or financial advice.
