Are you also one of those who love watching Munich, Argo, Black Hawk Down and Zero Dark Thirty but never actually read about any of it? Yeah, same. That always felt like a gap I needed to fill.
So when I finally decided to start reading in this genre, there was only one place to begin — the Mossad. Everyone talks about how good the Israeli secret service is, and I mean GOOD. A country among the smallest in the world, surrounded by nations that don't even recognise its right to exist, under constant threat since day one. And it hasn't just survived. It has dominated.
Picked up Mossad: The Greatest Missions of the Israeli Secret Service, and honestly? Better than the movies, hands down. No script, no CGI, no stunt doubles. Just real people pulling off things you'd call unrealistic if you saw them on screen.
And if you're someone who low-key believes "RAW might be watching me and could send me an appointment letter someday" — congratulations, the secret agent in you needs this book.
Absolute must read.
